[20th August, 2010] - College Locker Opening Hours -If you cannot find the student currently living in your previous room, and you need our help to opening your locker we will be available for this purpose during the following times. Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd: 18:00 - 19:00Monday 23rd to Sunday 29th: 18:00 - 19:00 Monday 30th to Friday 3rd: 12:00 - 13:00 & 18:00 - 20:00 Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th:13:00 - 14:00 To reach us CALL 5304Due to the high number of locker opening requests during O-Week, we can unfortunately not meet individual time preferences and must therefore implement the above-mentioned opening hours. Before it gets to this, we are looking for brave people to become floor representatives of their floors.
What you would have to do:
* attend floor rep meetings (with sweets!)
* keep track of the cleaning stuff, ironing board, iron etc. that will be provided to your floor by the college office
* join in the organization of traditional Mercator floor rep-driven events like Floor Cooking Contest & Mercatorstrasse
* help your floormates in case of problems/conflicts
* administer the floor budget
What you DON'T have to do:
* clean up after your floor (but maybe send gentle reminders to your floormates about kitchens and trays...)
We would especially like to encourage first years to get involved, it's a great way to get to know the people around you. If you would like to stand for election, please send an e-mail with your name and floor by Sunday midnight to
