It starts with the sound of luggage wheels in corridor. Then there are a lot of hugs and smiles, followed by a never ending stream of questions about the vacation, the road back and the future plans. Now there are no doubts left: the Mercatorians are back!

Back to a place which is hopefully regarded as a second home and in which we spend the time not only studying, but also relaxing and having real fun. This semester will be full of amazing events and surprises which are just waiting for a flow of enthusiastic students to get out of their cosy rooms and to join the fun. Be active, be open and forget about the worries!

But let's not forget about the exchange students, who have still to experience the overflowing spirit of our college and to integrate into our big friendly family. Welcome to Mercator, a place where the boredom is afraid to come because we have so many "weapons" to defeat it! Have an easy transition to our university life and enjoy this thrilling experience.

Dear Students,
A warm welcome to all our returning students. It is nice to have you back ! We would also like to extend our welcome to our visiting students. Hope you enjoy your stay at Mercator College. The new semester, as every semester at Jacobs University, will be a roller coaster ride with hectic social and academic activity. Take care and make sure you get enough sleep. To our third year students, we wish you lots of luck and strength with the tough months ahead.
