The glorious story of the famous Mercator-organized Country Information Days starts way back in May 2003 when the first Nepali (and first ever) CID took place. Most of the people who took part in this event are no longer around Jacobs University and too little material is preserved from those pioneer days. However, with the help of the Boehnkes , a few pictures could be retrieved and here you can see some of them:
