After weeks of tireless preparations, the Second Romanian Country Information Day took place on November 2nd, 2006. The evening started with a traditional Romanian song, which was a short teaser for what was about to come in a night of Romanian folklore. The CID was itself centred around a reconstruction of a traditional Romanian wedding with Daniela Dodan as the beautiful bride and Sergiu-Christian Mihut, Marius Febi Matei and Silviu Botnaras competing for her heart. A short, but memorable cameo appearance of Valeriu Predoi as Count Dracula and Mihai Cretu as his faithful servant Igor marked the climax of the event.

The performance lasted for more than an hour and a half and just as the guests started to get hungry, the traditional Romanian food was served, thus putting the final touch in a beautiful night dedicated to Romania.
