The Landof the Pure - this is how the Pakistani advertised their country before the 29th Country Information Day - the Pakistani CID. It took place on March 6th, 2008 and thus became the first CID for the year.

Easily one of the most attractive, action-packed CIDs to-date, the Pakistani CID was a non stopping stream of motion and information intertwined. A night of dances and excitement concluded with the undoubted audience favourite - a short, but immensely entertaining show-review of some of the stereotypical characters from the Pakistani society. Apart from a few technical difficulties, overcome by the hosts with remarkable calmness and sense of humour, the Pakistani CID left a certain sense of satisfaction into the onlookers, as they were heading downstairs to the servery to grab a piece of delicious Pakistani food - and there were lots of it!
