Martisor/Martenitsa Workshop 2011 |

March 1st is the day when girls and boys are offered Martisoare (RO)/Martenitsa (BG), small red and white bows (white representing winter and red spring), to which are added other symbols of luck (horseshoes, a four-leaf clover).
Whether or not spring arrives at the beginning of March, the glimmering hope of warm and sunny weather is revived once again by offering a Martisor!
For offering one, you have to make one! We cordially invite you on Saturday, 26.02, at 21:00 in Mercator College Office to make your own Martisoare/Martenitsa.
Enjoy hot drinks, atmospheric music and the company of your friends to let your creativity
take over when you prepare a special Martisor/Martenitsa gift.
The event is organized by the Mercator College Office together with the initiator of the workshop at Jacobs - Cosmina Bolojan!
