Review: Martisor Workshop 2011
martisor
This Saturday, 26th of February, at around 21:00, in our very own college office, took place the annual Martisor/Martenitsa Workshop, where, just like at the Valentines Card Making Workshop that happened just a few weeks back, a surprinsingly number of people showed up from all the regions of the international pool. Led by our fearless leader, Cosmina Bolojan, the college office team managed to organize an event of biblical proportions,  managing to gather not all most of the Romanian, Bulgarian and Moldovian communities from all the four Jacobian Colleges, but also a good number of people from several other different nationalities as well. And it didn't take more than a few white and red strings, some colored paper, scissors and glue to make it all happen. For a few short-lived hours the Jacobs community flurished in harmony in our college office, twisting and turning pieces of string around, slicing and dicing colored paper while stuffing themselves with quality sweets until they were evacuated due to cleaning issues.

See you next year on the next edition of our Martisor/Martenitsa Workshop, only at Mercator College!
