This year the pajama spirit day was held on the 13th of August 2009. It was a culmination of a tradition that was celebrated all day. All Mercator residents had been in their pajamas all day as part of the spirit. As one might expect, not all had their pajamas on, for various reasons that are pointless to indulge in. On the organization side, the Mercator College Office prepared all the necessary ingredients and equipment for a delicious midnight English breakfast that was liked by all who attended. Speaking of attendance, the numbers were very impressive, at least compared to previous pajama days, the office was litereally full with people. There were alot of games adding great fun to the event. An addition to the games list was the brand new College PS3 coupled with the new TV which one could use one floor below in the Mercator TV room. A number of gaming enthusiasts as well as amateurs had their hands ont the machine. Others whow remained in the College office enjoyed others games and nice interactive chat session, getting to know the new memebers of the college (freshies) even more. The event ended shortly after midnight with everyone in attendance jovial and relaxed to start a new week. All that remained was the daily doze of sleep.
