It has already been three years, has it? Gosh, I didn't realize that and I am not sure how many of us (the class of 2009 that is) did either. And the last few days have just flown by and here we are - students no longer, but alumni of Jacobs University. Time does indeed have the annoying habit of speeding up when you really want it to take things slowly. It is finally time to say goodbye.

Over the past three years Mercator college has indeed been 'a home away from home'. The endless (sometimes pointless) discussions over meals, running to classes at 8:15 - not because we were eager to study but because we did not want to be late for the quiz , cheer ups, the spirit days; we are going to miss it all. But most of all, we are going to miss the wonderful people that we met at Mercator, that made Mercator the awesome place that it is.Neither do I have the words to desribe them, nor will I make a feeble attempt to do so.

I, on behalf of the Mercator class of 2009, will just bid goodbye to all in Mercator. Future mercatorians, we have left our legacy in front of MB - in form of a tree and a bench, take good care of them. Fellow Mercatorians, hope our paths cross in the future as well.
