The First RA in Mercator

Christian Schlachtbauer was the first Resident Associate in Mercator College. He moved in October 2002 - even before the College Masters did. Back then were the times when it all began in Mercator and the college started to develop its identity. Christian comes from the heart of Bavaria, namely Ingolstadt. As an RA he organized tours to Bremen City, the Becks brewery, the Ice-Skating Hall and became famous for his muffins. What our students said about him? He is one of the finest persons they know. Besides his position in Mercator College he worked as research associate in the BCE teaching lab with Prof. Schwaneberg until August 2004 when he left IUB to go back to Bavaria where he now has a position in the Roche Diagnostics company.
